This year we have seen a large number of bookings bringing their 4 legged friends and as much as we love to see tails wagging and children running around with their furry family members. To ensure a great balance onsite for both two and four legged friends we are limiting the capacity of dogs onsite. If the option to add your dog is not available then unfortunately we have reached our capacity of dogs for your stay. If you would like to bring your dog please look for alternative dates with the dog option available. Please follow our guidelines around the site.

– Owners are responsible for the behaviour of their animals
– We do not allow on site any breed of dog listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991
– No animal is allowed to be loose on site and must be kept on a lead no longer than 2m and under control around the yurts.
– Owners must ensure that their pets do not foul the site and are responsible for cleaning up after them.
– If it is deemed a pet is creating a nuisance or causing disturbance to others, being aggressive towards another dog or person, their owner will be asked to remove them from the site

If you are lucky enough to have a furry family member please don’t be discouraged by the above but ensure your dog is well behaved and looked after at all times.

Your dog should not be allowed to wander around or find their own entertainment, we are surrounded by farmers fields and livestock. Even if you know that your dog is trustworthy and friendly with both other dogs and people, other guests might not be so comfortable with dogs. So please keep this in mind.

Other dogs on site may not also enjoy the attention of another dog, they may not be as bouncy or forthcoming as your best friend, so please await an invitation from other dog owners.

We are all dog lovers here on site and ask the above to be followed to ensure every guest on site has a memorable experience for all the right reasons.

There is plenty of seating in the communal areas, around the fire and large banquet tables for more than 1 family. Each yurt has its own private dining area next to their Yurt. Cushions are not provided for the seats but you are welcome to bring some.

Yes, we have general waste, recycling & glass bins placed around site.

There will always be staff on hand to help with anything you require. If you do not catch them walking through camp, then please use the radio at reception or on the kiosk.

The Yurt Village has a large communal fire pit located near the bandstand, with benches all around. Please take care when around the fire. Guests are not permitted to make fires around the Yurt Village.

There are fire buckets full of sand situated near the fire pit which are there to extinguish the fire if it spreads beyond the confines of the pit.

Fire extinguishers are mounted in the catering van, hot tub, on the side of the toilet block, by the doors in Home Yurt, reception and bandstand in case of fire.

Fire muster points located at each end of the campsite, are identifiable by signposts. A fire siren will alert campers to the outbreak of fire.

Each yurt is equipped with a fire extinguisher and carbon monoxide detector.

We can suggest a number of different event caterers who provide a catering service for large groups, with breakfast & dinner menus tailored to your event. For example menus and pricing please email us.

Cooking and the use of camping stoves are not permitted inside the Yurts. We have provided a wooden table and pallet kitchen outside each tent on which to use camping stoves and prepare food.

If Elessar Events has supplied the camping stove, please do not attempt to change the canister yourself. One of our team will do this for you. If you have brought your own camping stove, please do not change the canister inside the tents. Please ensure that camping stoves are placed on a flat surface outside the tents to prevent accident, burns or outbreak of fire.

There are BBQ’s for exclusive use outside all the Yurts.

Charcoal can be pre bought or purchased onsite for £12 a bag

You are welcome to bring your own barbecue so long as you do not burn the ground. Disposable barbecues may not be used directly on the ground. Freestanding barbecues are permitted on the campsite but must be placed at least 15 feet away from Yurts.

Yes, there is the possibility to self cater, we have a kitchen with two gas ovens, gas stoves, an off-grid chiller and plenty of basic cooking equipment inside, along with crockery, cutlery and other utensils for your use!  You can even cook around the campfire or use any of the many BBQ’s on site, just remember to bring the charcoal.

There is plenty of space to eat outside on the numerous picnic benches within our communal area, or under the shelter of our big hex shade on the covered banquet tables or inside the large home yurt. We provide a true festival vibe feel on site for you and your team to come together to eat, drink and be merry!

Yes and we don’t charge corkage!
We are however a glass-free site (other than beer or wine bottles), so please bring biodegradable cups or purchase glass drinking jars (these are much thicker than wine or pint glasses, so won’t shatter) for all your guests to use.

If you want to ensure the drinks don’t disappear too quickly, why not hire our staff to serve your drinks!

You can bring in a mobile bar or cocktail provider, we just ask that no money exchanges hands on the day. The bar must be an open bar or paid for ahead of the big day.
Please ensure they are aware of our no glass policy.

We are ‘off-grid’ here at Elessar Events.
Which means we have no mains power. Everything we run is off solar power and leisure batteries.
However we have plenty of power in the home yurt to power our TV, sound system and a laptop for any presentations or meetings you might want to hold.

If you are in need of electricity to run additional sound equipment, lighting, bands or anything else you may desire you will need to hire a generator.
We can help you with this and provide details of our provider on request.
