Planning for Rain:
We recommend having a wet weather plan in place so you can relax and enjoy your day, rain or shine. Here are some of the options we offer:
Indoor Ceremony:
If the rain comes pouring down, you can move your ceremony to our beautiful Home Yurt. This cozy and intimate space is perfect for keeping the atmosphere warm and special.
Flexible Timing:
Consider the flexibility of your ceremony’s timing. You can choose to delay or bring forward the ceremony based on the weather forecast, ensuring that you make the most of any dry spells.
Fun Rainy Day Activities:
Rainy days can also bring unique opportunities for fun and creativity! Here are a few activities to consider:
– Decorating Rain Macs: Have some fun personalizing raincoats with your guests. Use fabric markers or stickers to create colorful and memorable designs.
– Acrylic Pens on Wellie Boots: Turn your wellington boots into works of art with acrylic pens. It’s a great way to engage guests of all ages.
– Making Jellyfish Umbrellas: Craft umbrellas that look like jellyfish with some simple decorations. These can be used if it rains and later hung in the trees as whimsical decorations.

We are ‘off-grid’ here at Elessar Events.
Which means we have no mains power. Everything we run is off solar power and leisure batteries.
However we have plenty of power in the home yurt to power our TV, sound system and a laptop for any presentations or meetings you might want to hold.
If you are in need of electricity to run additional sound equipment, lighting, bands or anything else you may desire you will need to hire a generator.
We can help you with this and provide details of our provider on request.
